Audacity Editing Basics Workshop
Sofia hosted the first in a series of virtual workshops for CJRU volunteers. Focused on how to edit audio professionally using Audacity, Sofia took attendees through the basics of audio including decibel levels, creating fades and mixing and mastering skills. The workshop also featured a live-edit session where Sofia showed attendees how to create a radio stinger and provided files for the attendees to work on themselves.
Networking in Arts & Culture
Sofia was a featured panel speaker and roundtable expert at the 2020 Work In Culture event, hosted by Ryerson University’s Faculty of Arts.
Sofia spoke about being a young person, particularly a young woman working in media and gave advice to over 200 attendees about how to break into the industry despite the challenges one may face.
